#The real heroes

#THE REAL HEROES

The recent attack on a convoy of the Central Reserve Police Force(CRPF) on the Jammu-Srinagar Highway has shaken the country. Both public and private spaces were seen wearing a sense of gloom as the bodies of 40 CRPF jawans who lost their lives in the attack reached their families.
We also lost our two majors,Major Vibhuti Singh Dhoundiyal and Major Chitresh Bisht. These losses are irreparable. Not only their families are going through this most difficult phase of their lives but the whole nation.Till date I have not been able to forget the crying faces of the families.
I have quoted below a heart touching answer given by a martyr's mother when she was asked by a journalist to describe the darkest day of her life....and is she a proud mother or not.
                    She answered,
"I am very proud of my son,he was a brave man.
I believe that I must have done something really good in the past that god give me a chance to give birth to such a noble and selfless man.For him,his nation our Bharat mata was always the priority. The day when I got this news(of his son's death) I was broken,I was not able to accept that I have lost my 30 year old beloved and my only son,he was my life,he was my jaan, that day I not only lost my son I lost everything.....That day was nothing different I was following my regular routine,I remember, I was preparing breakfast and suddenly my husband's phone rang. From my kitchen only, I asked 3-4 times that who is there?Whose is there on the phone ?as I was eagerly waiting for my son's call.He didn't answer....Then I came out and again asked him the same thing.....his face was blank,he was not able to speak out even a single word.I understood that there is some bad news....I kept on asking, after five minutes he answered,he said "Our son is coming back".I sighed and after that I said that it's not possible last week when we(her son) had a talk he said that he will return in April and it's March. Then he(husband) said "No,he his coming back today only,he will be back in a coffin,he will be back wrapped up in our national flag".I was shattered after listening this.In the evening when he came back....he was sleeping so peacefully in the coffin with the brightest smile on his face.I was literally dying to hear his voice....I was dying to hear "MAA" from him.He was a very obedient child,he used to do everything, no matter what I asked him to do.But,that day when I asked him to wake up he disobeyed me for the first time in his life.He didn't wake up.I kept on crying but he didn't reply, and then I realised that he was in a very very deep sleep".Indian Independence Day Quotes Cws 008

Asking about the importance of indian army in india is like asking the importance of heart in the human body.It would  not be wrong to say that there would be no India without Indian army.It is the backbone of the country. It is also one of the few institutions left in the country which could be considered completely neutral and reliable. If anything goes really wrong in the country,we look at the army for solutions,be it riot control, counter insurgency, fighting terrorism, fighting Naxalites and even getting medals in international sporting events.
If u pick a person randomly and ask him birthdays of film stars, politicians, sport persons etc. There is a good chance that he/she will be able to answer quite a few but if you ask him/her that,"when and why is Indian army day celebrated"?There is a good chance he/she will have no answer. The problem is that we have taken so many things for granted. One amongst them is freedom/security.We have taken for granted that someone is always deployed to guard our borders while we sleep in our cosy homes or their will be someone to take the bullets of enemy and terrorists for us.
"Mil jaate hain kuch desh premi, jinhe marne se kuch farq nahi padta".I remember this dialogue from the film Baby, that does full justice to describe our soldiers in the army. The Indian Army. With so many stories and instances that prove the intrepidity of the brave soldiers. We as citizens should salute and revere them.Just mere words with right adjectives can never do full justice as we can never thank them for what they do for us,but we can at least take a moment and remember these brave hearts and their contribution to the countries tranquility,

A big "SALUTE" to the indian soldiers and to their families........

Now,as you have read this i just have one question for you all

                                      "HOW'S THE JOSH?".......
